Answers:
1Go back to the late 1970s/early 1980s and look at the British punk and reggae movements and communities. They were friendly with one another, and they listened to and influenced each other's music.
If you ever saw the PBS "Rock and Roll" series, watch the episode "Punk" and listen to Ari Up (Arianna) of The Slits. She's German and speaks with a heavier rasta accent than the reggae producer Don Letts who also appears.
